Chad le Clos has won a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games, the first in swimming for South Africa.

50m in a time of 23.27 seconds, beating Dylan Carter of Trinidad and Tobago as well as compatriot Ryan Coetzer to this glorious gold victory today!
